Theatre Exams
Theatre exams are taken with the N.C.D.T.A. We follow both Graded and Medal exams in Tap, Modern Stage & Ballet. Click here for the Ballet Exams Page. Medal test exams help bridge the gap between the standard of grades as there is a big jump up in standard in most cases from grade to grade.
Infant Theatre pupils also have the opportunity to take Song & Dance medals. (Prep to Statuette) For these exams children perform solo doing a routine that includes both song and dance. Junior/Adult Song and Dance Exams may be taken by Private lesson though often Stage School classes are also entered for Pairs/Team Song and Dance exams depending on the work being done in class.

Exams are optional but highly recommended as a way of tracking your child's progress while taking lessons at the Academy. They are also a record for the future for inclusion on C.V.'s.
